Terrible crashes at the Isle of Man TT races

September 12, 2008

Yesterday we talked about the Isle of Man TT races which have now been run on the island for over 100 years and have claimed in excess of 200 lives. The circuit is tight, narrow and unforgiving which explains why there are so many fatalities. As a rider your concentration must be in the zone for 100% of the time that you are racing.

These examples below of some terrible crashes demonstrate just why this kind of motor bike riding is so extreme and so dangerous. Thanks to diegargon, orribleorritt and podsynergy for the videos.
